Every rod is a Shimano
T Curve rods with Tiagra, Torsa and Talica overheads, Stella and Saragosa spin reels. Bring your own if you prefer. Hire is $35 a day.
The crew do the messy part
Your catch is gutted, gilled and bagged before you are back at the ramp. On trips of three days or more it is filleted, bagged and snap frozen.

The reef decides when we go. If a departure is called off for weather, you are rescheduled onto the next suitable date, or issued a credit you can use whenever it suits. Deposits are non-refundable, but they are transferable, so you can send a mate in your place.

Straight answers.
Do I need to be an experienced fisher?
No. Plenty of first timers come aboard. The crew rig you up, show you the technique and stay on your shoulder until you are into fish.
What happens if the weather is bad?
We reschedule you onto another date, or issue a credit for a future trip. Travel insurance is worth having for the extended expeditions.
Can I bring my own gear?
Absolutely. If you have a favourite rod, reel or lure setup, bring it. If you would rather travel light, hire is $35 per day.
Can I bring the kids?
Yes, with a bit of notice so we can set the boat up. Children need to weigh at least 32kg, which is usually around 10 years old.
What do I do with the fish?
On day trips the crew gut, gill and bag your catch so it is ready to take home. On trips of 72 hours or more it is filleted, bagged and snap frozen on board.
Is alcohol included?
Two complimentary drinks are included. Beyond that it is BYO, cans only, light to mid strength.
Can I book the whole boat?
Yes. Private charters are date selective with no minimum group size, and are popular for corporate groups and milestone trips. Select whole boat in the booking panel, or call the office.
Where do you depart from?
Yeppoon and Townsville, depending on the trip. Your confirmation email states the exact ramp and time. Arrive 30 minutes early for the welcome tour and safety briefing.
